Feline Herpesvirus (FHV) und Feline Calicivirus (FCV) sind zwei h\u00e4ufige virale Pathogene, die Katzen betreffen und oft Atemwegsinfektionen verursachen. Diese Viren tragen ma\u00dfgeblich zum komplexen Krankheitsbild der oberen Atemwege bei Katzen bei, das allgemein als \"Katzen-Grippe\" bekannt ist. Tests auf diese Viren spielen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Diagnose und Behandlung von Atemwegsinfektionen bei Katzen.<\/p>\n

Das Feline Herpesvirus, auch bekannt als Feline Virale Rhinotracheitis (FVR), ist ein hochansteckendes Virus, das haupts\u00e4chlich das Atmungssystem von Katzen betrifft. Es geh\u00f6rt zur Familie der Herpesviridae und steht in enger Verbindung mit dem menschlichen Herpesvirus. FHV kann Symptome wie Niesen, Nasenausfluss, Bindehautentz\u00fcndung (Entz\u00fcndung der Augen) und Husten verursachen. Infizierte Katzen k\u00f6nnen auch Geschw\u00fcre auf der Hornhaut entwickeln, was zu Augenproblemen f\u00fchren kann. FHV wird haupts\u00e4chlich durch direkten Kontakt mit infizierten Atemwegssekreten oder durch kontaminierte Gegenst\u00e4nde \u00fcbertragen.<\/p>\n

Das Feline Calicivirus ist ein weiteres h\u00e4ufiges virales Pathogen, das Katzen betrifft, insbesondere ihr oberes Atemwegssystem. Es geh\u00f6rt zur Familie der Caliciviridae und kann \u00e4hnliche Symptome wie FHV verursachen, einschlie\u00dflich Niesen, Nasenausfluss, Mundgeschw\u00fcre und Bindehautentz\u00fcndung. FCV kann auch zu Lahmheit und Fieber f\u00fchren. Es ist hoch ansteckend und kann durch direkten Kontakt mit infizierten Katzen, kontaminierte Gegenst\u00e4nde oder durch aerosolisierte Atemwegssekrete \u00fcbertragen werden.<\/p>\n
