Le virus de l'herp\u00e8svirus f\u00e9lin (FHV) et le calicivirus f\u00e9lin (FCV) sont deux agents pathog\u00e8nes viraux courants qui affectent les chats, causant souvent des infections respiratoires. Ces virus sont des contributeurs majeurs au complexe de maladies respiratoires sup\u00e9rieures f\u00e9lines, commun\u00e9ment appel\u00e9 \"grippe du chat\". Les tests de d\u00e9pistage de ces virus jouent un r\u00f4le crucial dans le diagnostic et la gestion des infections respiratoires f\u00e9lines.<\/p>\n

L'herp\u00e8svirus f\u00e9lin, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de rhinotrach\u00e9ite virale f\u00e9line (FVR), est un virus hautement contagieux qui affecte principalement le syst\u00e8me respiratoire des chats. Il fait partie de la famille des Herpesviridae et est \u00e9troitement li\u00e9 \u00e0 l'herp\u00e8svirus humain. Le FHV peut provoquer des sympt\u00f4mes tels que des \u00e9ternuements, une s\u00e9cr\u00e9tion nasale, une conjonctivite (inflammation des yeux) et de la toux. Les chats infect\u00e9s peuvent \u00e9galement d\u00e9velopper des ulc\u00e8res sur la corn\u00e9e, ce qui peut entra\u00eener des probl\u00e8mes oculaires. Le FHV est principalement transmis par le contact direct avec des s\u00e9cr\u00e9tions respiratoires infect\u00e9es ou par des objets contamin\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Le calicivirus f\u00e9lin est un autre pathog\u00e8ne viral courant qui affecte les chats, en particulier leur syst\u00e8me respiratoire sup\u00e9rieur. Il appartient \u00e0 la famille des Caliciviridae et peut provoquer des sympt\u00f4mes similaires au FHV, notamment des \u00e9ternuements, une s\u00e9cr\u00e9tion nasale, des ulc\u00e8res buccaux et une conjonctivite. Le FCV peut \u00e9galement entra\u00eener une boiterie et de la fi\u00e8vre. Il est hautement contagieux et peut \u00eatre transmis par le contact direct avec des chats infect\u00e9s, des objets contamin\u00e9s ou par des s\u00e9cr\u00e9tions respiratoires a\u00e9rosolis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
