The Accudoctor THC Rapid Test Dipstick is a tool used to detect the presence of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana, in urine samples.
The THC drug test contains a series of chemical reagents and a reactive strip with a result window. To perform the test, the strip is submerged in a urine sample for a specific period of time, typically 5 to 10 seconds. After that, the drug test is removed and placed on a flat, non-absorbent surface. The strips usually have a result window where lines or symbols will appear to indicate whether the test is positive or negative.
The presence and duration of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) in urine can vary depending on several factors, such as frequency and quantity of consumption, individual metabolism, quality and potency of marijuana, and other aspects related to health and lifestyle. In general, THC and its metabolites can be detected in urine by a drug test approximately 7 days after use for occasional users. However, in regular or chronic users, THC can remain in urine for weeks.
The Accudoctor THC Rapid Test Dipstick shows a positive result if the concentration of THC in the urine sample is equal to or greater than 25 ng/mL. If the test result meets or exceeds this threshold, it will be considered positive. The strips are individually packaged and include instructions in 5 languages.
